INDIANAPOLIS – Governor Eric J. Holcomb today announced Jeffrey L. Marchal as his appointment to the Marion Superior Court.
Marchal will succeed Judge Grant W. Hawkins who is retiring on September 30, 2022.
Marchal currently serves as a Magistrate Judge with the Marion Superior Courts and previously served as a Master Commissioner. He has served as a judicial officer in the Marion Superior Courts since 2004. Prior to that, he was in private practice. Magistrate Marchal received a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Illinois and his law degree from the Indiana University McKinney School of Law.
Magistrate Marchal will be sworn in as the Judge of the Marion Superior Court on a mutually agreeable date to be determined following the retirement of Judge Hawkins.
