LAWRENCE COUNTY – The Boys & Girls Club of Lawrence County will host their annual Back to School Bash on Monday, August 1st from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. at the Limestone building at 2009 19th Street in Bedford.
This free event is available for any family with kids going to school, not just Boys & Girls Club members, and will offer a variety of events and games for all to enjoy.
This come-and-go event will include a dunk tank, a bounce house, games, and there will also be free school supplies available for those who need them. Free hotdogs, popcorn and slushies will also be available to all who attend.
Some of the school supplies available include:
- Backpacks
- Folders
- Binders
- Glue Sticks
- Markers
- Crayons
- Pencils
- Loose leaf paper
- Scissors
- and more
School supply donations are welcomed and can be dropped of at the Boys & Girls Club limestone building at 2009 19th Street. For information on what items are still needed, you can call the club at (812) 279-6123 and ask for Elli Crosby.
This event will also serve as a great way to meet and interact with the new Boys & Girls Club Unit Director, Kara Matthews.
