BARTHOLOMEW CO. — Daily lane closures originally scheduled for earlier this week on State Road 46 in Columbus have been rescheduled due to weather. The closures are planned during camera pole installation as part of the $65 million added travel lanes project on I-65.
Starting on or after Friday, July 29, the right lane of S.R. 46 WB will close at I-65. The lane is scheduled to close each morning around 6 a.m. and reopen each evening. Installation is expected to be complete by early next week, weather permitting.
INDOT reminds drivers to slow down, avoid distractions, and consider worker safety when traveling through active work zones. All work is weather-dependent and schedules are subject to change.
