FAYETTEVILLE – The Third Annual Sheila Strong cornhole tournament is set to take place on Sunday, September 11th, beginning at noon at the Fayetteville Community Lions Club located at 6825 State RD 158.
Sheila Arthur was a wonderful mother of 6 boys, and 3 girls, and was married to Tony Arthur for an amazing 42 years before sadly passing of pancreatic cancer in 2020.
As a way to honor her memory and the family’s love for cornhole, her brother Paul and his wife Samantha began to host a cornhole tournament. The tournament is $40 per couple and those interested in participating are required to bring their own partner.
There will be cash prizes for the winners, a 50/50 raffle, food, and much more for everyone to come and enjoy. Additionally, the winners will also receive custom cornhole boards along with their cash prize.
