NASHVILLE – Brown County rallied from a first-set setback to top Bedford Lawrence in four sets during high school volleyball action on Thursday night.
The Stars won the opener 25-23 before the Eagles rolled to 25-18, 25-16, 25-20 wins before a raucous home crowd.
”Tonight was a battle,” BNL coach Whitney Carroll said. “We fought harder than they have in a long time. We played a heart-wrenching match but couldn’t pull it out.”
Camryn Anderson and Isabelle Harding had 6 kills each, Anna Williams totaled 5 kills, Annie Waggoner had 7 blocks, Hayley Davis added 9 digs and 7 blocks, and Harley Tanksley finished with 8 digs for the Stars.
BNL will compete in the Bloomington North Invitational on Saturday.
