Reva Joyce (Miller) Roberts, 88, of Bedford, went home to be with Jesus, on Saturday, August 20, 2022.
Born March 5, 1934 in Lawrence County, she was the daughter of Charles (Dad) & Martha (Mom) Miller. She married Russell Paul Roberts on July 15, 1950 and he preceded her in death on Father’s Day, June 18, 2017. She was a homemaker, loved her children and family and her many cat fur babies. She was of Pentecostal faith.
Survivors include her five children, Russell Roberts II (Mary) of Missouri, Rose-Mary Chapman of Williams, Sherry (Kyle) Cobb of Tennessee, Rita (Norman) King of Bedford, Rick (Angie) Roberts of Bedford, her sister, Sharon Lucas of Arizona, sister-in-law Sandy Miller, several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles & Martha Miller, her siblings, William (Bill) Miller, Hobert Miller, Charles (Pooch) Miller, Home Dale Miller, Dean Miller, Rose Cooney, Lois Walters and son-in-law Mike Chapman.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday August 24, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. at Cresthaven Funeral Home with Pastor Lyndon Hopkins officiating, burial will follow in Cresthaven Memory Gardens. Visitation will be held on Wednesday August 24, 2022 from 9:00 a.m. until service time at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home.
