BLOOMINGTON – Volunteers are needed to serve as coaches for Bloomington Youth Basketball.
Volunteers are needed for two seasons that run from October – December and January – March.
Teams are coed through Grade 3. Boys and girls in grades 4-6 play on separate teams.
Games are held at the Twin Lakes Recreation Center at 1700 West Bloomfield Road in Bloomington.
Season includes one practice and one game per week. Practice times are at coaches’ discretion any time between 5:30 p.m. and 9:30 p.m.
Coaches must be 18 yrs. and up, pass a criminal history background check, and complete a youth coaching certification course through the National Youth Sports Coaches Association.
A mandatory coaches meeting and player draft will be held on October 5 at 6:30 p.m. at the Twin Lakes Recreation Center.
