INDIANA – IHCDA’s have many initiatives that focus on the quality of place and building communities where Hoosiers want to live, work, and play.
CreatINg Places is just one of these programs.
CreatINg Places has projects all over Indiana, and many of them are in the smaller, rural parts of the state. The program is available to projects located in Indiana communities.
Non-profit entities (with 501c3 or 501c4 status) and local units of government are eligible to apply. Anyone can bring an idea to our CreatINg Places team to crowdfund a project in their community.
Eligible projects must have a minimum total development cost of $10,000, where the recipient will receive $5,000 in IHCDA matching funds should it successfully raise $5,000 through Patronicity. IHCDA will provide matching grant funds of up to $50,000 per project.
Currently, there are four projects who are in the crowdfunding stage.
