BLOOMINGTON – The Bloomington Farmers Market is a great place to shop for fresh fruit, produce, and other items.
This week’s spotlight vendor is Olde Lane Orchard.
Both their home and the orchard in Northern Daviess County are accessed by long-standing lanes hence the name, Olde Lane Orchard.
Fruit has been their business since 2002, and they aim to give Bloomington Community Farmers’ Market customers exceptional produce and flowers.
The market tables groan with the harvest of mouthwatering peaches, apples, and pears from approximately sixteen acres of trees in a normal season.
They learn a bit more every year, from pruning to integrated pest management, and they enjoy what they do. Many local customers visit the house regularly, and they welcome travelers as well.
Saturday’s performance at the Farmers’ Market features the return of Nicholas Graham Hall
Performing once again at the Market is songwriter-singer, and local painter, Nicholas Graham Hall.
Hall once wrote, “I write songs to express what I want to say. I create art to express what I feel. I’ve started to play with stand-up comedy to poke fun at myself and the world around me.”
Hall will be performing this Saturday, beginning at 10 a.m.
