SOUTHEAST INDIANA – The Indiana Department of Transportation will host two hiring fairs in southeast Indiana for winter seasonal positions on Wednesday, Sept. 28.
The events will take place from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the following locations:
- Bloomington Sub District
2965 N. Prow Rd., Bloomington, IN - Falls City Sub District
5701 U.S. 31, Clarksville, IN
Winter seasonal positions run between Nov. 1 and April 1 at a starting pay of $20 per hour for full-time operations and $24 per hour for snowplow-only positions. Job duties include performing general highway maintenance, traffic maintenance, snow and ice removal, and other duties related to winter operations. A valid CDL is required to be considered for a seasonal role.
Registration is not required to attend the event. Interviews will be conducted on-site and INDOT team members will be available to answer questions and provide more information about open positions and careers with the agency.
