BLOOMINGTON – A Vigil for Nate Stratton will be held tonight to celebrate his life.
The vigil will be held at the Showalter Fountain on the Indiana University campus tonight at 7 p.m.
Hearts go out to Nate Stratton’s friends and family.
Stratton had just started his junior year at IU, where he was pursuing studies in entrepreneurship. He was killed on Saturday after an alleged drunk driver struck him while he was driving an electric scooter.
Stratton, who graduated from Minnetonka High School in 2020, was active in the skiing community and competed with the club Team Gilboa. He spent many days of his childhood on the slopes of Hyland Hills.
The IU Community knows this is hard for many people. If you need someone to talk to, there’s always help – please take advantage of campus counseling with the IU Student Health Center. CAPS is currently offering all counseling services by phone/video and in-person visits for some types of services.
