Our beloved Edie passed away peacefully at her home with her son Reese always by her side on October 1, 2022.
Wee Willie’s was where she called home during the day. So many of us knew her from there. She sure had an infectious smile and a well-learned ear.
Born in Ashville, Ohio. She was the daughter of Walter and Gladys Cummins. She was divorced after having 2 sons. Her undergraduate degree was received from Capital University and her Master’s studies were completed at Indiana University.
She was preceded in death by her son Jack and her grandson Kevin.
Survivors include her son Reese Heltenburg, granddaughter Maranda, grandson, Nova as well as a daughter-in-law
Debra Wood.
Cremation was chosen.
Cresthaven Funeral Home is entrusted with her care.
