HELTONVILLE – Come join in the fun at the Fall Festival sponsored by Pleasant Run Volunteer Fire Department and Pleasant Run Park on October 22 from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m.
The parade will kick off the festival beginning at 4 p.m. at the 58 & 446 junction and will travel down 58 on to church street and then onto Jefferson Street. It will then turn right and continue up 58 to take a left on Diamond Road to the Pleasant Run Park.
The Pleasant Run VFD will host a fish fry that will open at 5 p.m. with the proceeds from the fish fry going to the Pleasant Run Fire Department equipment purchasing and building fund. Proceeds from the Pleasant Run Park concessions will go to the Pleasant Run Park.Â
The menu selection and prices will include the following: $1 Drinks,$2 Sides (corn, mac and cheese, green beans),$5 Fish Sandwich, and a $10 Fish Platter (fish, hushpuppies, fries and one other side).
There will be trick or treating from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. and a costume contest.
Come see if you can face your fears in the Haunted Fire Truck Tunnel.
The Open Season Band will perform live in the community building located at the park 6 p.m. – 8 p.m. Seating will be available, so no need to bring your chair.
There will be other activities packed full of fun for the family to enjoy.
