BLOOMINGTON – The Bloomington Parks and Recreation Department is looking for volunteers during the Rose Hill Cemetery event.
Explore the stories that have outlived the deceased at one of Bloomington’s most historic cemeteries during the event on October 15th at Rose Hill Cemetery at 930 West 4th Street in Bloomington.
Volunteers are needed to assist with set-up and teardown, guiding parking, and greeting tour participants. Volunteers will also have the opportunity to go on a tour for FREE during their shift.
Please note that volunteers may be standing alone in Rose Hill Cemetery at night. While flashlights will be provided and tours and staff will be in the cemetery throughout the night, the experience can be unnerving for some. Please consider this when signing up as a volunteer.
Two volunteers ages 16 or up are needed for the first shift from 6 p.m. until 10 p.m. On-site training will be provided.
