ORANGE COUNTY – In a post on the West Baden Springs Police Department Facebook page, Food Basket Blessings will be made available for Orange County Residents in need of a meal for Thanksgiving and Christmas this year.
The post reads:
“Thanksgiving and Christmas are right around the corner! In 2022 We are planning to help as many families as possible in our community. We are happy to serve Orange County!
If you know a family in Orange County that might be in need of some blessings this Thanksgiving and Christmas, please let Assistant Chief Andy Burkhardt know. You can contact him at (812)709-9750. If you would like to help by donating food items, prayers, or money to help with purchasing items please stop by the West Baden Police Department. If an officer isn’t on station, please call the Orange County Sheriff Dept Dispatch (the number is posted on our door) to have an officer meet with you. Or contact Asst. Chief Burkhardt to schedule a time to drop off contributions.
Items that typically go into baskets are; green beans, corn, peas, mac n’ cheese, rolls, stuffing mix, butter, eggs, desert mix/ boxes, mashed potato mix packets, turkeys, hams, milk, and more!”
