BEDFORD – Thanksgiving is the time of the year to reflect on what we are most thankful for and a time to spend with our family. But for many individuals within Lawrence County and surrounding communities, a warm meal and interaction with others are not available.
Bertha’s Mission 10th Annual Free Community Thanksgiving Dinner is scheduled for Saturday, November 19, 2022, from 2 p.m. until 4 p.m.
The public is invited to join in the holiday meal which will be served dine-in at the First Baptist Church at 1515 20th Street in Bedford and drive-through at Tulip Street Christian Church at 900 Tulip Street in Mitchell and Turning Point Christian Church of the Nazarene at 45 Jefferson Street in Heltonville.
The meal is free and filling and gives everyone the opportunity to give thanksgiving and come together during the holiday season.
Holiday meals can be delivered to the elderly, disabled, or homebound. To have a meal delivered call April at 812-275-7703 before November 15th to be put on the delivery list.
