BEDFORD – The Bedford Housing Authority awarded contracts for Lawn Care and Snow Removal services for 2023 during their regular meeting Thursday.
Four companies sent bids for lawn service, while only three placed bids for snow removal, which had both go to Prolawn Services. Each contract includes:
- $1,100 per month for mowing and lawncare
- $450 per occurrence with salt for snow removal services
These services will cover both the Hauck House and Hamilton Courts locations, however, this does not affect the responsibility of individuals who live in these two locations.
According to Resolution 629, which was passed with updates to the original policy on Thursday, October 20th, individuals are required to remove snow from their vehicles and porches (if applicable) to avoid any unnecessary hazards.
