BLOOMINGTON – Soothing bedtime stories will NOT be told during the Festival of Ghost Stories event this Friday, October 28th but spooky, haunting tales of ghosts that will keep you up at night.
The event is scheduled from 7 p.m. until 8:30 p.m. at Bryan Park at 1001 South Henderson Street, in Bloomington. The event will be held just north of the basketball courts.
The Free event is being provided by the Bloomington Parks and Recreation Department, Monroe County Library, and Bloomington Storytellers Guild.
The event is best suited for adults, teens, and older school-age children. It may not be appropriate for younger children.
The weather is looking great for this outdoor venue, but participants are encouraged to bring a lawn chair or blanket and dress warmly to avoid the chill as seasoned storytellers spin their tales in the dark.
