Dora Pearl Bradley, 97, of Paoli, passed away Tuesday, November 1, 2022, at her residence.
Born August 20, 1925, in Mitchell, she was the daughter of James Cleveland and Edith L. (Carroll) Sanders. Dora married Arthur Wayne Warren in 1944 and he preceded her in death in 1968. She married Dan Bradley in 1987 and he preceded her in death in December 2005.
Dora was a beloved mother and grandmother, who was known as “Granny” by many. She worked at Green Thumb Older Worker’s Program in Bedford, Mitchell, and Orleans. Dora loved quilting, sewing, crafting, and puzzles. She loved cruising and loved log cabins.
Surviving is her children, Delma June Smith of Paoli, Mary Edith Miller of Blacksburg, Virginia, William Lee Warren of Tunnel Hill, Georgia, Charles Cleveland Warren of Paoli, and Homer Wayne Warren of Indianapolis; twelve grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.
Her husbands; parents; and siblings, Herman Estell Sanders and Catherine Marie Porter preceded her in death.
The funeral service will be at 11:00 a.m. Monday, November 7, at Haverly Funeral Chapel with Brother Jimmy Johnson officiating. Burial will be in Mitchell Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 2:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m. Sunday and from 10:00 a.m. until the service on Monday at Haverly Funeral Chapel
