Ronald Lee Ritter, 82, of Bedford, passed away on Tuesday, November 2, 2022, at I.U. Health Bloomington
Hospital.
Born January 27, 1940, in Lawrence Co., he was the son of Harrison and Florence (Coulter) Ritter. He married Nancy Lane Spangler on January 25, 1959, and she survives. He was a graduate of Shawswick High School and owner of Ritter Tool & Die Corporation. He was a member of the Bedford Elks Lodge and Sons of the American Legion.
Survivors include his wife, Nancy, of Bedford; four sons, Col. Mark (Lou Ann) Ritter, of Canyon Lake, TX, Brian (Debbie) Ritter, of Perrysburg, OH, Roy (Melissa) Ritter, and Chad (Lisa) Ritter, of Bedford; a daughter, Lisa (Pat) Ritter, of Mesa, AZ; a sister-in-law, Norma Ritter; several nieces and nephews; nine grandchildren, Corey (Crissy) Ritter, of Chicago, IL, Jake Ritter, of Baltimore, MD, Sharissa Ritter, of Norman, IN, Cole (Courtney) Ritter, and Shane Ritter, of Bedford, Rachel Ritter, Caleb Ritter, Kelsey Ritter, all of Perrysburg, OH, and Luke Ritter, of Bowling Green, OH; seven great-grandchildren, Brody Phillips, Jayce Phillips, Wyatt Phillips, and Gracie Phillips, all of Norman, IN, Ainsley Ritter, of Bedford, Erynn Ritter, of Perrysburg, OH, and Adrian Ritter, of Chicago, IL.
He was preceded in death by his parents and brothers, Robert, John, and Larry Ritter; a step-sister, Mary Hammel.
Graveside services will be conducted at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 5th at Green Hill Cemetery with Millard Jones officiating. Visitation will be from 1:00 p.m. until 2:45 p.m. on Saturday, at the Day & Carter Mortuary.
