Robert Wayne Wells, 52, William, passed away Tuesday, November 15, 2022, at Indiana University Health Methodist Hospital.
Born July 2, 1970, in Bedford, he was the son of Robert Eugene and Alene (Goins) Wells.
Wayne was a 1988 graduate of Bedford North Lawrence High School. He retired from Dana Corporation as a machinist. Wayne was a member of the American Patriot Lodge No. 750 F.&A.M. in Oolitic. He was a jack of all trades and enjoyed farming, fishing, and hunting.
Surviving are his children, Andrew Wells of Williams, Tiffany Alexander Wells of Bedford, and Travis (Heather) Fuesler of Springville; grandchildren, Benjamin Fuesler and Loralynn Fuesler on the way; and mother, Alene Wells of Bedford;
His father; brother, Charles “Chuckie” Wells; and grandparents, Charlie Wells, Thelma Wells, Cora Goins, Brownlow Goins, and Clifford Goins preceded him in death.
The funeral service will be at 1:00 p.m. Monday, November 21, in the Memorial Chapel of Chastain Funeral Home and Cremation Center with Pastor Nathan Shark officiating. Burial will be at Mt. Pleasant Christian Cemetery in Bedford. The family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. until the service on Monday at the funeral home. A memorial service will be conducted by the American Patriot Lodge No. 750 F.&A.M. at 12:45 p.m. Monday.
