Roger W. Webster, 78, of Mitchell, passed away on Wednesday, November 23, 2022, at his residence.
Born July 1, 1944, in Bedford, he was the son of Haskell “Doc” and Wilma (Johnson) Webster. He was a sign installer for Johnny’s Signs and a veteran of the U.S. Army.
Survivors include two sons, Roger W. Webster, II (Ioda), of Mitchell, and Reid Webster, of Bedford; a daughter, Cynthia L. Martens (Jon); twelve grandchildren, Melinda (Alex), Abigail (Timothy), Jon Michael, Caroline, Mary-Kate, Michael, Brandon, Joshua, Ian, Alton, Natali, and Stacey; a great-grandson, Logan; five sisters, Wanda Piper, Gloria Skeen, Linda Miller (Steve), Jeana Cox, and Iris Jo Sego (Ernest).
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Graveside services will be conducted at 2:00 pm on Monday, November 28th at Cresthaven Memory Gardens with Pastor Kyle Hall officiating. Military rites will be accorded at the graveside by members of Gillen Post #33 American Legion. Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until 1:30 p.m. on Monday at the Day & Carter Mortuary.
