MONROE CO – Monroe Fire Protection District responded to a shed fire Wednesday on Tunnel Road.
Monroe County Sheriff’s Department Central Dispatch received multiple calls about the fire, but each caller reported different locations creating confusion on the exact location.
Firefighters responded to the area and soon located a shed engulfed in flames on fire on Tunnel Road.
Firefighters quickly extinguished the blaze and a small brush fire caused by burning embers off the shed.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
