Georgia F. Henderson, 93, of New Albany, IN, passed away on Tuesday, November 22, 2022,
at Floyd Baptist Hospital in New Albany.
Born April 28, 1929, in Bedford, she was the daughter of Lloyd and Essie (Horner) Speer. She married Joseph Henderson and he preceded her in death. She was a homemaker and a member of the St. John’s Presbyterian Church in New Albany.
Survivors include two sons, Roger Eugene Henderson, of New Albany and Jordan Lawrence Henderson and his wife Susan, of Ohio; two grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents and husband.
Graveside services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 1st in the Fairview Community Cemetery with Rev. Allen officiating. Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. until 1:30 p.m. on Thursday, December 1st at the Day & Carter Mortuary.
Memorial contributions may be made in Georgia’s memory to St. John’s Presbyterian Church in New Albany.
