The Muscatatuck Wildlife Society is holding a Holiday Open House with free homemade cookies and hot cider served from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Saturday and Sunday at the Muscatatuck National Wildlife Refuge’s visitor center located at 12985 U.S. 50 East in Seymour.
While there you can also purchase Christmas gifts and more.
The society is a volunteer nonprofit organization that was created for the purpose of supporting educational programs and activities at the refuge. The society works closely with the refuge staff in their efforts to educate visitors about wildlife.
Members have the opportunity to get involved with the management of Indiana’s first national wildlife refuge established in 1966.
