BEDFORD – A Bedford woman was arrested after an incident at IU Health Hospital on November 25, 2022.
Police arrested 30-year-old Brittany Flick on a charge of battery resulting in bodily injury to a public safety officer.
According to police, on that day Flick was in the emergency room for a medical evaluation when she began making 911 calls from the treatment room.
The nurse went into the room to hang up the phone and that is when officers heard screaming from inside the room and rushed in. Flick had grabbed the nurse by the hair and had struck her in the face and head with the phone. Officers attempted to free the nurse from Flick’s grasp.
Flick was detained and placed in restraints. The nurse filed a battery affidavit.
