BEDFORD – Three teens were arrested Friday night after Bedford Police officers were called to the 1000 block of 25th Street by a Lawrence County Probation officer to assist with three juveniles who had been consuming alcohol.
Two 17-year-old males and a 16-year-old male face charges of juvenile delinquency and illegal consumption of an alcoholic beverage.
All three tested positive in a breath test of consuming the illegal beverage. All three were transported to the Bedford Police Department and their guardians were contacted. All three were issued summons to appear in court and released to family members. The teens will appear in juvenile court on December 28th at 10:30 a.m.
The adult female at the home told police she was asleep and was unaware that the teens were drinking.
