BLOOMINGTON – If you are passionate about Bloomington’s green spaces and natural resources consider becoming a volunteer with one of the city’s three Adopt programs. Each of these programs offers a unique opportunity to provide meaningful support to the Parks and Recreation Department.
As an adopter, you will be assigned to either a parcel of land, a stream, or a trail that you monitor and help maintain on a monthly basis over the course of one year.
Adopters submit monthly inspection reports to the Parks and Recreation Department.

A mandatory orientation will be held on March 30, 2023, at 5:30 p.m. More information about these programs will be coming soon.
