BEDFORD – Billie Tumey announces her intention to seek the Republican party nomination of the City of Bedford Clerk/Treasurer in 2023.
Billie presently serves as Lawrence County Clerk, but due to the term limits will soon be leaving that office.
Billie is a lifelong resident of Lawrence County. She has served her community for many years in several elected positions: Shawswick Township Assessor, Lawrence County Treasurer, Lawrence County Auditor, and is currently completing a second term as Lawrence County Clerk. She has held several posts in the Lawrence County Republican Party as well.
Billie lives in Bedford and is the mother of two children Matt and Jena. She has two grandchildren as well.
Billie believes in the conservative fiscal management of local government.
