Helen Louise Parker, 83, of Mitchell, passed away Monday, December 26, 2022, at her residence.
Born December 21, 1939, in Hot Springs, Arkansas, she was the daughter of Willie E. “Bill” and Virginia Iona (Lane) Robbins. Helen married Clarence William Parker, on June 18, 1960, and he preceded her in death on September 17, 2001.
Helen worked for ASI Security and retired from Carpenter Body Works where she worked security. She loved Elvis and enjoyed spending time with her kids and grandkids.
Surviving is her daughter, Cynthia “Cindy” (Shawn) Daughrity of Mitchell; and grandchildren, Audrey Wilkerson, Michael Parker, Tony Kidd, Crystal Arthur, and Joey Kidd.
Her husband; parents; son, Michael Parker; and siblings, Billy Joe Robbins and Rosa Marie Wadkin preceded her in death.
Graveside service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday, December 30, at Mitchell Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. until 12:45 p.m. Friday in the Memorial Chapel of Chastain Funeral Home & Cremation Center.
