Robert E. Mullen, 63, of Bedford, passed away at 7:28 a.m., on Friday, December 23, 2022, at IU Health Bedford Hospital.
Born March 1, 1959, in Dayton, OH, he was the son of James and Ruth (Bell) Mullen. Robert was a computer scientist and an IT specialist. He loved geology, the outdoors, camping, woodworking, and making wine. He enjoyed playing the blues on the guitar.
Survivors include his four children, John D. Mullen, and wife Jacquelyn of Lovettsville, VA, Rachel Mullen of Bedford, Michelle Mullen of Bedford, Bethany Meadows of Monrovia, IN; two grandchildren, Aaliyah and Adelaide Mullen; two sisters, Susan Reid of Ohio, and Connie McCammon of TX.
He was preceded in death by his parents, one son, Ryan Mullen, and one brother, Jim MullenCremation has been chosen. A celebration of life will be held from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. on Friday, December 30th at Butler Vineyard.
