OOLITIC – Brenda Corey has announced her intention to seek her second term on the Oolitic Town Council.
Brenda Corey has announced her intention to seek her second term on the Oolitic Town Council. She was appointed in 2020 by the Lawrence County Republican Central Committee to fill William Kendal’s term which runs through 2023. Brenda currently serves as Vice President of the Town Council.
A 1969 graduate of Oolitic High School, Brenda has a long history of service to the community. As a Senior Level Supervisor who retired in 2019 from Crane Army Ammunition Activity, Brenda brought the strong leadership skills needed to think strategically, approach analytically, and pursue opportunities to implement improvements. She also brought a sincere wish to serve the Town of Oolitic.
Brenda is the widow of Dennis Corey, a mother, grandmother, and most recently a great-grandmother. She looks forward to continuing her work on projects vital to the town’s infrastructure. Brenda hopes the residents of Oolitic will continue to support this undertaking.
