INDIANA – Do you know an Indiana resident who is going above and beyond to engage neighbors and spur action on climate change and other environmental challenges?
Indiana is full of individuals who are working to make Hoosier communities and the state more resilient in the face of environmental change. Each year, the Environmental Resilience Institute recognizes a few of these individuals by naming them a Hoosier Resilience Hero.
Nominations for 2023 Hoosier Resilience Heroes are open now through March 1. Individuals can nominate an Indiana resident by filling out and submitting an online form.
Hoosier Resilience Heroes are found in every corner of the state and from every walk of life. They are leaders at schools, churches, nonprofits, and local government. Their efforts are inspiring others to think about climate change, address environmental inequity, and take action to prepare for environmental change.
