COLUMBUS – Two people were arrested Monday night after the Columbus Police Department received a report of a man had been shot in the face with a pellet gun.
Police responded to the 2100 block of Union Street after a report of a disturbance outside of a home at 6:30 p.m.
According to Lt. Matt Harris, when police arrived they were told by a man he had been assaulted. He reported Todd Carr, 58, of Columbus, had shot him with a pellet gun and tried to strike him with a metal pole.
Officers arrested Carr and Lisa Davis, 48, of Columbus, who both were wanted on out-of-county warrants.
Carr was transported to Columbus Regional Hospital for treatment of injuries he sustained in the altercation.
Carr is also facing charges of battery with a deadly weapon.
