MISHAWAKA – This morning a months-long investigation that began from a citizen tip of suspected drug dealing concluded after the Indiana State Police Bremen Post All Crimes Policing Team served a search warrant at a Mishawaka address.
At 8:00 a.m. on January 20, 2023, a search warrant was served at an address in the 600 block of West Mishawaka Avenue in Mishawaka.Â
This investigation began months ago when a concerned citizen submitted a tip of suspected drug dealing at a business in Mishawaka. The investigation ultimately led troopers to the residence on West Mishawaka Avenue. This warrant resulted in troopers discovering approximately 11.2 grams of suspected methamphetamine, a handgun, marijuana edibles, numerous pills, and numerous items of drug paraphernalia.
Linda McAfee, 49, was arrested at the residence for dealing methamphetamine, possession of methamphetamine, possession of a legend drug, possession of a narcotic drug, possession of drug paraphernalia, and maintaining a common nuisance. McAfee was taken to the St. Joseph County Jail.
