Geneva “Becky” Dale Weldon, 90, of Bedford, IN, passed away on January 20, 2023, at her residence.
Born on October 12, 1932, in Hattieville, AR, she was the daughter of Walter and Emma (Holyfield) Baughman. She married Max Weldon in 1952 in Russellville, AR, and he preceded her in death.
Becky was a member of the First Assembly of God Church and was a homemaker. She enjoyed gardening, quilting, and planting flowers.
Surviving to cherish the memory of Becky is her daughter, Kay Weldon of Bedford, IN; one brother, Jim Baughman, of Hattieville, AR; and one sister, Sue Jones of Hattieville, AR.
Becky is preceded in death by her husband, Max; parents, Walter and Emma; a son, Kenny Weldon; and three brothers, Walter Baughman Jr., Irvin Baughman, and Bill Baughman.
Funeral Services will be held at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, January 24, 2023, at the First Assembly of God Church in Bedford, IN with Pastor John Dodd officiating. Visitation will be from 2:00 p.m. until the service time on Tuesday, also at the First Assembly of God Church. A visitation will also be held from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, January 26, 2023, at the Atkinson Funeral Home in Malvern, AR. A graveside funeral service will take place at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, January 26, 2023, at the Rockport Cemetery in Malvern, AR.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made in Geneva’s memory to the First Assembly of God Church.
