Regina Deckard, 72, of Bedford, passed away on Saturday, January 21, 2023, at the IU Health Bloomington Hospital.
Born April 4, 1950, she was the daughter of Charles and Helen (Terrell) Deckard. Regina was a caregiver and cleaned houses. She attended the Church of God of Prophecy where she played the piano. She enjoyed planting and working with flowers and feeding the birds and squirrels.
Surviving Regina is her sister, Renee (Steve) Fish; two brothers, Bill (Shantel) Luallen and Charles (Rita) Robinson; along with several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; and two brothers, Greg Deckard and Larry Edward Deckard.
Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, January 25, 2023, at 11:00 a.m. at the Ferguson-Lee Chapel of
Thorne-George Family Homes in Bedford with the Rev. Brent O’Neal officiating. Burial will be at a later
date at Beech Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be from 9:30 a.m. until the time of the service on
Wednesday at the Ferguson-Lee Chapel.
