MITCHELL – The Mitchell High School baseball program will soon host their winter camp. It will be open to students from any school or district.
Information for the camp, including dates, times and suitable ages is below:
Place: Mitchell High School Gymnasium
Dates: February 18, February 25 and March 4
Sessions each day: 12-1:30 p.m., which grades 1-4 should attend. 2-4 p.m., which grades 5-8 should attend.
Camp Sessions will assist attendees with throwing, catching, fielding, and hitting fundamentals. Emphasis will be placed on fun and fundamentals. Students should plan to attend all 3 sessions.
Jerry Chaney, MHS Varsity Baseball Coach, will direct the camp along with assistant coaches and Mitchell players.
What to Bring: Baseball glove, bat (if you have one), tennis shoes, and a hat.
Cost: $20 per session or $50 for all three sessions.
Free T-shirt: Any player that attends all 3 sessions will receive a T-shirt.
