David Eric Martin, 74, of Bedford, passed away on Monday, January 23, 2023, at 4:34 p.m. at IU Health Bloomington Hospital.
He was born in Indianapolis on September 8, 1948, to Leonard E. Martin and Wanda Arlene (Means) Martin. Mr. Martin was a graduate of Bedford High School Class of 1966, he loved IU Football and Basketball, he loved old movies, he attended the Restoration Christian Church, he worked at Ralph Rogers for 20 years, and retired as branch manager of the BMV Bloomington branch.
Survivors include his daughters, Maureen Yvette (Jerry) Workman of Springville and Melanie Yvonne Martin of Bedford, grandchildren, Brian Joseph Martin-Howe, Rachael Jordan Howe, and Indy Annagail Workman, three great-grandchildren, one brother, Michael Leenon (Lisa) Martin of Louisville, sisters, Adele Rhea Martin of Bedford and Carol Dorothy Marie (John) Allen of Bedford
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Funeral services will be on Monday, January 30, 2023, at 4:00 p.m. at Cresthaven Funeral Home, with Bro. Trent Freed, officiating. Burial will follow in Cresthaven Memory Gardens, and visitation will be on Monday, January 30, 2023, from 2:00 p.m. until service time at 4:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
