BEDFORD – Anyone looking to join a local pickleball or volleyball league can now sign up through the Bedford Parks Department, with games starting in February and March.
The cost to sign up for the volleyball league is $160 per team, with the deadline to do-so set for Feb. 3 at 4 p.m.
Games will start the week of Feb. 13 and will be played at Parkview Elementary School. Coed games will be played on Monday nights and women’s games will be played on Wednesday nights.
Pickleball sign-ups are also open for doubles teams at a cost of $40 per team. Each team will play an eight-match schedule starting on March 15, with games being hosted in the BNL Auxiliary Gym.
The deadline to register is March 3, though sign-ups could end earlier if 24 teams register before the date.
There will also be open play each Sunday from 2-5 p.m. for $5 per person.
