December 25, 1944 – January 26, 2023
On Thursday morning, January 26, 2023, Marion I. Roler, loving wife and mother of three
children, passed away at the age of 79 from cancer. She passed peacefully in her sleep with
her family at her home in Bedford.
Born on Christmas Day to Rutherford and Justine Fowler of Connecticut, Marion was the wife to Warren “Bud” Roler (1940-2021), she was a career banker and loving mother. Together, she and Bud traveled extensively throughout the US and abroad for work making many friends along the way. Eventually, they raised their family in Santa Barbara County on the central coast of California. Married 59 years, every day was an adventure and a memory to hold.
They eventually moved to Bedford Indiana where Marion volunteered at the oncology department at IU Health Bedford, she attended Restoration Church and continued to lead a wonderful life. Marion is survived by her three children: Christina, Jeffery, and Keith (Lisa).
Marion personally requested that no formal end-of-life services be held. Instead, she requested her family and her many friends to remember and celebrate her life and accomplishments in their hearts and minds.
She will be missed… always.
