WASHINGTON – Senator Braun released the following statement after today’s CPI report showed inflation continues to raise consumer prices in the American economy, at 6.4% in January 2023 and 14.4% since President Biden was elected.
“Today’s inflation report shows what Hoosiers already know: we’re paying more and getting less on everything,” said Senator Mike Braun. “All Americans – and especially seniors on a fixed income – are paying the price for President Biden’s agenda and career politicians’ failure to stop runaway government spending, and this should be a wake-up call to make a real budget and stick to it.”
