BEDFORD – The Lawrence County Purdue Extension is partnering with IU Health to offer a babysitting training course to local youth.
The course will be held at StoneGate Arts and Education Center, 931 15th St., Bedford, from March 21-23. Students in grades six through eight are encouraged to attend.
Topics will include Safe Sitter certification, child care how-tos, cooking for kids and more.
The cost of the course is $75 per person, which includes all supplies, food, and resources for the three day training. Those interested can register here through March 9.
You do not have to be enrolled in 4-H prior to this event. You will, however, need to complete the 4-H enrollment process to register to attend.
