BEDFORD – Owners of Southridge Church of Christ, 2201 26th St., Bedford, approached the Bedford Redevelopment Commission on Tuesday seeking a subdivision of their property, with intentions to sell part of the land.
The property, which is around 11.5 acres, would be divided into two parcels, one of which would be 3.155 acres and the other would be 8.484 acers.
Matt Knoy spoke to the commission spoke on behalf the request at the meeting, saying the church no longer has any use for the additional vacant land and plans to sell it should it be divided.
The matter was moved forward for a public hearing, which will be held at the next RDC meeting.
