Clayton Shane George, 28, of Bedford passed away at his residence at 6:21 a.m. on Thursday, February 16, 2023.
He was born on December 28, 1994, to Shane George and Stacey (Deckard) Moore. Clayton married Kaylee Dalton and she survives. Clayton was an outdoorsman, he loved his family and friends and his dog, Tucker. He loved sports and was a hard worker, he was a member of the Bedford Boat and Sportsman Club, Laborer’s Hall #741, and he attended Highview Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Kaylee George, one daughter, Hayley Dalton, one step-son, Taylor (Kennedy) Dalton, his mother, Stacey (Chris) Moore, his father, Shane (Dee Dee) George, two brothers, Cody (Ali) George, nephew Axel, Kenny (Ashley) Niflis, nephew, Colton, grandparents, Rick and Debbie Deckard, Janice (Bill) Hamilton, and Terrie Moore, great grandma, Thelma Deckard, several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his mother-in-law: Christine Wright, grandfather, Jerry C. George, great grandparents, Herman Deckard, Max and Billie York, George, and Elta Mae Hughes, and Mamaw Jenny Flinn.
Funeral services will be on Monday, February 20, 2023, at 2:00 p.m. at Highview Baptist Church at 60 Patton Hill, Bedford, with Bro. Danny Goens, officiating. Burial will follow in Cresthaven Memory Gardens,
visitation will be on Sunday, February 19, 2023, from 3:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the church, Cresthaven Funeral Home is entrusted with his care.
