LINTON – Join officials for Goose Pond’s Visitors Center Trail Dedication on Saturday, Feb. 25th at 10 a.m. EST.
Goose Pond FWA provides quality outdoor recreational opportunities on 9,098 acres of prairie and marsh habitat. With construction on the trail beginning in 2021, the .5-mile-long trail features wildflower plantings and interpretive signage. It is for anyone of any ability. The gravel trail circles the visitors’ center.
DNR Director Bortner and DFW Director Wuestefeld will be speaking, as well as a representative of the Indiana Wildlife Federation.
Refreshments will be provided.
