Donna J. (Gehring) Blackburn, 73, of Bedford passed away on Saturday, February 25, 2023, at 4:30 p.m. at Mitchell Manor.
She was born in Bedford on June 1, 1949, to Robert and Emma (Cummings) Gehring. Donna was a graduate of Shawswick High School, she was a member of the Bedford Elks Lodge, she was a beautician and owner of Hair Sensations in Bedford, she also made wigs for the Lawrence County Cancer Patient Services. Donna married Larry Blackburn in May of 2001 and he survives.
Survivors include her husband, Larry Blackburn of Bedford, four children, Darin (Jo) Blackburn of Bedford, Lori (Scotty) Mollett of Bedford, Jamie (Susan) Blackburn of Kentucky and Alison (Matt) Easton of Bedford, nine grandchildren, Taylor, Alexis, Trey, Brittany, Jordan, Luke, Kaylie, Katelin and Codey, three great-grandchildren, two cousins, Doug (Lori) Klumpp of Vincennes and Jimmy Hill of Medora
She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Emma Gehring.
Funeral services will be on Wednesday, March 1, 2023, at 2:00 p.m. at Cresthaven Funeral Home, burial will follow in Cresthaven Memory Gardens, and visitation will be on Wednesday from 11:00 a.m. until service time at 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
Cresthaven Funeral Home is entrusted with her care.
