Orleans residents invited to learn about bike and hike planning effort

ORLEANS – The Town of Orleans kicked off a town-wide bike and pedestrian master planning process in November 2022.

Town Clerk Robert Henderson said “Over the last several months, the project team has been working with an advisory committee to develop a series of goals and proposed recommendations for where improvements are needed.”

The community is invited to attend a public open house on Tuesday, March 7 to learn about the planning process and provide feedback on the draft materials. The public open house will be at Town Hall from 6:00 to 7:30PM.

A brief introduction will begin at 6:00. Following the project overview, attendees will be invited to review the materials at their own leisure.  “We really hope to have a good showing of townspeople out for this important community project.” Henderson added.
