Alma B. Tidd, 80, of Bedford passed away on Saturday, February 25, 2023, at 4:50 p.m. at IU Health in Bedford.
Alma won the victory as she stepped into glory surrounded by her loved ones. God is good, and we know she is no longer suffering.
Alma was born on June 5, 1942, in Ottawa, Illinois to John F. Seibert and Mazel Marie (Sells) Seibert. Alma married Russell D. Tidd, Sr. on February 15, 1959, at the Nazarene Church in Marseilles, Illinois and he survives. She was a Homemaker and member of the Body of Christ Fellowship.
Survivors include her husband, Russell D. Tidd, Sr. of Bedford, two children, Russell D. Tidd, Jr. and wife Millie of Silverville, and Barbara “Barbie” Porter and her husband Ralph of Beaver Dam, Kentucky, six grandchildren, Candace (David) Brown, Tana Marie Tidd, and fiancé’ Ben, Ben Tidd, Amanda (Mary Ann) Finney, Crystal Jenkins and fiancé’ Brad and Melissa (Christopher) Pavey, ten great-grandchildren, one brother, John “Sonny” Seibert.
Alma was preceded in death by her parents, three sisters, Jean Johnson, Hazel Wooldridge, and Rose Anderson, one brother, Thomas Seibert, and three siblings in infancy.
A celebration of her life will be at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 2, 2023, at Cresthaven Funeral Home, burial will follow in Cresthaven Memory Gardens. Visitation will be held on Thursday from 11:00 a.m. until service time at 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
