PAOLI – Indiana University School of Nursing and the Center for Rural Engagement in partnership with Southern Indiana Community Health Care are offering a Free health screening on Friday, March 24th from 9 a.m. until Noon at the Paoli Wesleyan Church gymnasium at 601 SW 1st Street in Paoli.
Walk-ins are welcome and no appointments are needed.
Appointment includes:
- blood glucose and cholesterol (a 9-hour fast before your test is recommended for the most accurate results)
- blood pressure
- heart rate
- oxygen saturation
- hemoglobin A1C
- nutrition education
- health coaching
Naloxone kits will be available.
Hope Resource Center Mobile Unit will be on-site with free pregnancy tests, STI testing, and ultrasounds IU Health Positive Link will provide free HIV/Hep C screening, prevention education, and connection to treatment.
Following your screening, you will have a personal consultation so that you can make informed decisions about your own health based on your screening results.
